When people come together with a shared purpose, meaningful impact happens. 💙

During Nemours Children's Cares Week, associates across our organization volunteered their time and talents to make a difference for children and families in the communities we serve. They prepared meals, supported students, assembled hygiene kits, collected books, and helped strengthen the resources families rely on every day.

Together, we:
✨ Engaged 253 associates who contributed 609 volunteer hours

✨ Prepared and donated 76,028 meals for children and families

✨ Supported 2,380 students through educational and school-readiness initiatives

✨ Supported 30 mothers through a community baby shower
✨ Assembled 250 hygiene kits for individuals in need

✨ Collected more than 2,868 books to help stock our Little Free Libraries

Thank you to everyone who participated and to our community partners who made this week possible! Because of your dedication, the impact of Nemours Children’s Health extends beyond our hospitals and clinics, reaching children and families where they live, learn, and thrive.

"For one day, we weren't focused on appointments, therapies, or medical needs. We were just a family enjoying a fun day surrounded by people who get it. That's what makes Nemours so special." -Heather H.

Thanks to a generous donation, our Cerebral Palsy families enjoyed a day at camp filled with arts and crafts, adaptive gaming, dancing, and plenty of fun. Parents and caregivers also attended sessions on topics ranging from mental health to the transition to adulthood. Drs. Wade Shrader, Arianna Trionfo, and Christina Herrero served lunch before a sweet ending with the Woodside Creamery Ice Cream truck. 🍦

Our NICU graduates, their families, and our amazing NICU staff came together to celebrate and reconnect at our NICU Reunion, held at the Brandywine Zoo in Delaware

It was a beautiful day filled with smiles, stories, and so much joy as these little warriors and the people who love them gathered to mark how far they've come.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, and to the Brandywine Zoo for hosting such a special day. We couldn't be prouder of each and every one of these graduates.

We're so grateful for our compassionate perinatal nurses who provide continuous, specialized care and emotional support for mothers and babies, from pregnancy and labor through the critical postpartum period. They monitor health signs, catch early signs of complications, and educate families.

From diagnosis through delivery, our team works together to offer clear guidance that helps you make the best choices for you and your family.

Meet Jack 👋 patient ambassador for the Nemours Children's Health Run & Walk in Jacksonville! 💙🏃‍♂️

Jack's a baseball pitcher & first baseman, soccer player, surfer, snowboarder, avid reader, and dog lover. His journey with Nemours Children's began at age three, when his family sought answers for some unexpectedly fast developmental changes.

"Nemours Children's has never treated Jack as just a patient — they've treated him as a whole child," his mom says. 💛

Clinic visits weren't always easy for Jack, until he met Charlie, a therapy animal in the ADAPT program. Charlie helped Jack stay calm during appointments and even taught him to regulate his own emotions. 🐾

Join us and help support world-class care for kids like Jack by participating in this year's race on November 21st! Proceeds benefit the Nemours Children's Compassionate Care Fund.
