AIDS Delaware For more than 30 years, we have welcomed clients while also educating the community to prevent the spread of HIV. Are you looking to make a difference?

AIDS Delaware's mission is to eliminate the spread and stigma of HIV/AIDS, improve the lives of those living with HIV/AIDS, and promote community health through comprehensive and culturally-sensitive services, education programs, and advocacy. The largest AIDS service organization in the state, AIDS Delaware supports residents affected by HIV/AIDS with ongoing case management, advocacy, and educa

tion. Year round, we offer:
* Free HIV testing
* Educational programs
* Food pantry/personal care items
* Referrals - dental/mental-wellness/nutritional counseling
* Referrals - transportation for medical/social services appointments
* In-home support, as needed
* Assist clients with health insurance/housing/drug & alcohol treatment

As a nonprofit organization, we rely on the generosity of donors and volunteers. We have many rewarding volunteer opportunities. Does your company donate to worthy causes? Sponsor our annual AIDS Walk Delaware or other signature events, or make a donation at any time during the year. Your support directly enhances people's lives. We're proud to share that Amber Graham, Senior Case Manager at AIDS Delaware, will be among the featured panelists at an upcoming educational seminar hosted by our friends at Beautiful Gate Outreach Center, Inc. on the intersection of substance use and HIV.

This important discussion will explore how stigma, mental health, access to care, and other social determinants impact HIV prevention, treatment, harm reduction, and overall community wellness.

Please join us in congratulating Deneen McManus on being accepted into the Mentoring the Managers Program: Stepping into Leadership, Managing for Growth and Impact in HIV Prevention through the Capacity Building Assistance Center for Learning and Innovation, Population Health Division, San Francisco Department of Public Health.

Deneen’s acceptance into this national leadership program reflects the care, commitment, and steady leadership she brings to AIDS Delaware every day. Over the coming months, she will join a cohort of emerging public health leaders focused on strengthening management skills, building resilience, and leading with empathy and purpose in HIV prevention work.

At AIDS Delaware, we believe investing in people matters. Deneen’s growth as a leader strengthens not only our organization, but the communities we serve across Delaware.

In observance of Memorial Day, all AIDS Delaware offices statewide will be closed on Monday, May 25. Offices will reopen on Tuesday, May 26.

Memorial Day is more than the unofficial start of summer. It is a day to remember the individuals who gave their lives in service to this country and the families who continue to carry that loss with them every day. We honor their sacrifice with gratitude and reflection.

We wish everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day.
