The Village at Orchard Ridge—A National Lutheran Community is seeking a part-time licensed hairstylist to provide on-site salon services for residents.

This is a contracted position and a great opportunity for someone looking to build clientele, gain experience, and work in a warm, supportive environment. The residents truly look forward to salon day and value the relationships they build with their stylists.

Requirements:
• Current Virginia cosmetology license
• Certificate of Insurance (COI) required
• Ability to work independently as a contractor
• Friendly, professional demeanor and comfort working with older adults

Position Details:
• Available for appointments 2 days per week (you pick the days)
• Independent/contracted role
• Clientele will be Memory Care residents

Tuesday afternoon, Orchard Ridge was honored to host more than 100 future residents and guests for a presentation by Matt Paxton.

Paxton is a downsizing and decluttering expert, speaker, author, radio personality and host of “Filthy Fortunes," the two-time Emmy-nominated television show “Legacy List with Matt Paxton,” and the extreme cleaning expert on “HOARDERS.”

Attendees enjoyed an informative and entertaining session as the best-selling author of “Keep the Memories, Lose the Stuff” encouraged them to share the stories behind their treasured keepsakes.

At the heart of our community, the fountain brings a sense of calm and connection, with its gentle flow reflecting the care and spirit that make Orchard Ridge so special. While its design is simple, its presence adds warmth and life to our shared spaces.
