The world came to Orchard Ridge for our first Passport Theme Night!

Passport Theme Nights are a new culinary adventure that brings the flavors, traditions and culture of destinations around the globe right to our community. Each event offers residents the chance to "travel" to a new country through authentic cuisine, cultural experiences, themed décor and fun facts along the way.

For our inaugural journey, residents explored Asia, receiving passports that were stamped at destinations including Hong Kong, China, and Tokyo, Japan. From passing through "customs" to sampling incredible flavors and learning about Asian culture, residents enjoyed an immersive travel experience without ever leaving home.

The evening was filled with delicious food, cultural discovery and plenty of conversation as we celebrated the rich traditions and heritage of Asia together.

Next stop: Italy! Residents will soon grab their passports once again and continue their journey with an evening inspired by Italian cuisine, culture and hospitality.

At Orchard Ridge, there is always something new to explore, learn and enjoy.

What a wonderful day of celebration at Orchard Ridge! 🎉

On Wednesday, we had the great honor of recognizing the incredible team members who make Orchard Ridge such a Great Place To Work. The day was filled with fun games, delicious food from Cousins Maine Lobster and refreshing treats from Kona Ice, exciting prizes and even a little dancing!

More importantly, it was an opportunity to celebrate the people whose dedication, compassion and teamwork bring so much heart to our community every day. Thank you to each and every team member for all you do to enrich the lives of the residents and make Orchard Ridge feel like home.

A big thank-you to Hearing At Home Mobile Hearing Center for hosting a wonderful Paint & Sip experience for residents!

What does it feel like to experience the world with limited hearing or vision?

Yesterday, our team members had the opportunity to find out firsthand during a Town Hall led by Therapy Services Director, B.J. Custer. Through simulated experiences using earplugs and specialized glasses, participants gained a deeper understanding of the daily challenges faced by individuals with hearing and vision loss.

The session also provided practical strategies for supporting residents with compassion, confidence and care.

We are committed to continual learning that helps us better serve our community.

Residents and team members gathered to enjoy delicious ice cream, share stories and spend time with friends. The afternoon was filled with laughter, conversation and the kind of connections that make community life so meaningful.
