Integrative Mental Health University Since 2013: A leading resource for integrative mental healthcare adding spirituality to best practices. Do you want optimal mental health?

Our aim is to nurture optimal wellness and spiritual development as well as recovery. Our mission: facilitate improvements in mental healthcare. IMHU offers evidence-based information about the value of spiritual experiences and psycho-spiritual development in an integrative model of mental health management (body-mind-spirit). Our programs take a cautious approach to psych meds. All our classes

are led by experts—MDs, PhDs, and others-- who share their expertise. We do not represent any special interests or lobbies. Take a class online and enjoy discussion forums via user-friendly, video-chat rooms, and new interactive learning software. https://courses.imhu.org/pages/all-courses is our current list of offerings. Imagine gathering with friends in your community and viewing the DVDs to improve your ability to nurture wellness where you live, work or go to school. Contact [email protected] to explore this opportunity. Increasing numbers of people are having experiences of spiritual awakening that leave them disoriented and disturbed. Sometimes they wonder if they are crazy. Often they are treated as "mentally ill" by healthcare providers. Disturbing experiences can be a doorway to exceptional functioning if cared for appropriately. About 1 in 4 people in the USA are taking one or more psychiatric drugs. These drugs, taken long-term, often reduce longevity by 20-25 years, erode physical systems and mental functioning. For some people they are powerfully positive; for others intolerable. An 'INTEGRATIVE' approach finds and treats the cause of mental and emotional distress on a physical level, in the stresses of life, and in our quest for meaning and purpose—using the most effective treatments available around the world. Full recovery is possible with an integrative approach. IMHU is an education and research oriented organization. Our umbrella organization, Foundation for Energy Therapies, Inc is designated by the IRS as a 501(c)(3), allowing your donation to us to be fully tax-deductible. We welcome your support.
