Riceland Healthcare was proud to support Elevate The Youth Foundation’s community event at Central Park in Beaumont on Saturday. Hundreds of families came together for a day of fellowship, music, and a talent show that showcased the incredible talent in our community.

We believe health is about more than what happens inside a clinic. Strong communities, positive connections, and opportunities for families to come together all play an important role in overall well being. On a sizzling Southeast Texas day, we were happy to provide bottled water and support an event dedicated to uplifting our community. Congratulations, Abrian Hall, on a successful event!

We treated members of our team to a crawfish boil as a small thank you for the hard work and dedication they show every day across Southeast Texas.

Healthcare is a team effort, and we are grateful for the physicians, nurses, therapists, technicians, support staff, and everyone behind the scenes who help care for our patients and community.

Dr. Ryan McHugh recently took in this incredible sunset from the Sotol Vista Overlook at Big Bend National Park. Moments like these remind us why health matters. It is not just about doctor visits and treatment plans. It is about having the ability to explore, travel, spend time with family, and enjoy the world around us.

At Riceland Healthcare, we are proud to have providers like Dr. McHugh who are passionate about helping patients maintain the health and mobility needed to keep making memories.

Many people know about our psychiatric clinic in Beaumont, but Riceland Healthcare also offers psychiatric care at our medical center in Winnie.

As a rural health clinic, we are able to see patients with commercial insurance, Medicare, AND Medicaid who may otherwise have difficulty accessing mental health care locally.

If you are in the Chambers County area or have Medicaid and are struggling to find a provider, we are accepting new patients in Winnie. A referral is required before scheduling.

In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, we were proud to celebrate the providers of our Intensive Outpatient Program and Psychiatry services at the Medical Center in Winnie with a special appreciation lunch yesterday. While Mental Health Provider Appreciation Day was officially observed on May 12, we were happy to reschedule so more of our team could be together.

These dedicated professionals play an essential role in helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Through compassion, guidance, and expert care, they make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and families throughout our community every day.

We are grateful for their commitment to mental health care and proud to recognize the important work they do. Mental health is health, and no one should ever feel ashamed to seek help.

Today we didn’t say goodbye, but rather “see you later” to Marie Lazard, who has been part of the Riceland family for the past five years.
