Did you know that anyone can make a referral? Often, family members know best when it’s time to call for supportive care. Whether that be palliative care, hospice care, or just to learn more about how to get help when facing a serious illness - we are only a phone call away at (336) 768-3972.

“My patient loved to play games, and that’s how we spent a lot of our time together. One day after our visit, she said, ‘I love you,’ and I said, ‘I love you too.’ And that’s the whole reason for doing it.” Donna Emmary - Volunteer

If you’ve ever thought about volunteering with Trellis, we invite you to learn more about it at our next Volunteer Training sessions set for Monday, 6/22 & Wednesday, 6/24, from 3-6pm. To register or learn more, email [email protected]

In the words of a mom who lost her son she loved so dearly, this is a glimpse of how grief counseling may be able to help.

“We got to spend all of Donovan’s 34 years together, until that last seizure took his life. I miss him beyond words. The counseling helped me through so many stages, and it helped me put my life back together.” Pamela Lillard – Loving Mother

Meet Alex, our most recent MVP. Alex was voted our MVP by the entire team at Trellis. He is well-loved by patients and provides excellent care and support. He was nominated, in part, because of the way he brings the entire organization together to provide for patients who need financial and/or additional resources. Not only does he take excellent care of his patients, he also provides excellent care and support to fellow staff members! He is intuitive, encouraging, and always available to provide a helpful hand. THANK YOU ALEX, for being a part of our team and for going above and beyond.

CNAs often spend more time with patients than anyone else on the care team, building trust and human connection that patients and families never forget. This year’s theme is “We’re Unbelievable” - and we completely agree. Here’s a few of our Unbelievable CNAs.
