The Phoenix Company welcomes Sarah!

Sarah is serving as an operations intern this summer. She is hoping to gain more experience in data entry and communications, and wants to learn about the insurance industry. Sarah also works at a Japanese restaurant and is a pet sitter.

As a student, she completed four other internships at animal care facilities. Her time at TPC will allow her to compare those experiences to working in an office environment.

Sarah recently graduated from Davidson-Davie Community College with an Associate’s degree in Applied Science in Zoological Science Technology. She will attend UNC Greensboro in the fall to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Biology.

She hopes to one day work with an AZA Accredited Zoo in field research.

Sarah enjoys reading, volunteering and traveling. She loves to stay busy and is always looking for her next adventure. While at DDCC, she participated in two studies abroad, one in Ireland and another in Costa Rica.

Sarah is looking forward to interning this summer with The Phoenix Company Correll Insurance Group and contributing to the overall operations and team projects.

The Phoenix Company welcomes ELI!

Eli is serving as a marketing intern with us this summer and into the school year. Through this internship he is gaining hands-on experience in marketing, communications, social media, and client engagement while learning about the insurance industry.

Eli is a rising senior at Salem Christian School in Winston-Salem and is actively involved in the performance arts department, and as the varsity women’s basketball team manager. This summer he will also intern at Creative Drama Children’s Theater backstage as well as in actor development.

Eli has a strong interest in communications and media, and theater, and plans to explore professional opportunities in those fields after graduation.

Eli enjoys spending time with his family and two dogs. He especially loves movies and TV shows, traveling, swimming and going to professional wrestling matches (WWE) and Broadway shows.

Eli is excited to learn from the experienced professionals at The Phoenix Company Correll Insurance Group and contribute to the company’s marketing and outreach efforts throughout the summer.
