You can like your doctor and still want to leave them.
I made a change this week to a new physician. My former one was fine, and honestly, I struggled to actually do it. Some kind of loyalty kept me staying longer than I should have.
But it was worth it. I left with a strong plan and real details about my risk, not just “increase the dose.”
Funny that it’s easier for me to see this clearly for my clients than for myself. Sometimes getting the care you want means switching until you find the right fit.
