Work Right NW

Work Right NW A leader in workplace safety & health that uses their expertise in anatomy and movement for injury p Work Right NW further provides Work Right University.

Work Right NW was founded with the mission of providing for the safety and wellness of all employees while at work. There are 2 distinct challenges that are facing industrial safety currently: 1) the workforce is aging resulting in people working later in life & 2) the cost of personal health insurance deductibles are rising. Understanding this, there is a steady rise in occupational injuries and

the expenses associated with such for corporations. Many companies have extensive measures in place to manage the cost of claims following a workplace injury. This however is a reactive step that does not reduce the risk of injury for the worker. Work Right NW has created a solution to these challenges that benefits the employee and saves the corporation substantial amounts of money. The Work Right NW solution is to provide for the safety and wellness of the employee prior to the development of injury. Work Right NW will partner with corporations to integrate a Work Right Injury Prevention Specialist at the job location to operate our Corporate Wellness Centers. These centers are similar to an athletic training room at the job site. The Injury Prevention Specialist will operate within the OSHA guidelines of first aid to identify the warning signs of potential Cumulative Trauma Disorders and provide the care needed to prevent them from becoming an injury. Utilizing industry leaders to provide course work to our corporate partners on OSHA training, Ergonomic Program integration, Workplace Ergonomics and much more. Our goal is to not only prevent workplace injuries, but more importantly to educate our corporate partners to build a culture of safety and wellness!

This one's a big dill, folks!

Stay cool as a cucumber with this week's recipe. We don't pickle favorites, but with higher temps outside, we're recommending an easy-to-make, refreshing solution to keep you and cool under pressure. Cucumbers are about 95% water, making them a simple way to add daily fluid intake during the summer months. The recipe is simple to customize based on your tastes and what you have on hand, too!

For years, 10,000 steps a day has been treated like the gold standard for movement and health. But where did that number actually come from, and do you really need to hit it to see benefits?

This week's Digest takes a closer look at the history behind the number, what the research actually says about daily movement, and why consistency matters far more than chasing a perfect step count.

Explore the truth behind the 10,000-step goal, where it originated, and why consistent daily movement matters more than hitting a perfect number.

Veggie burgers can be hit or miss, but not all of them deserve the reputation they've picked up over the years. This week's recipe keeps things simple with a short ingredient list and a reminder that plant-based meals don't have to be complicated or heavily processed to be tasty. While the prep time looks long, most of it is hands-off while the ingredients chill and come together.

Whether you're looking to mix up the dinner routine, add a meatless option to the week, or just see what a three-ingredient burger can actually pull off, this one is worth giving a shot. Share your creation with .

What starts as tightness, soreness, or limited movement is often an early signal worth paying attention to. Small adjustments and intentional recovery habits can make a major difference in preventing repeat injuries.

Learn why listening to early aches and discomfort can help prevent workplace injuries. Discover warm-up, stretching, and recovery tips from Work Right.
