Today was a surprise pizza party!! Fun Friday!! Ending to a great week!

Some days we wonder if we’re doing enough.
Do we have enough learning play in the rooms?
Do we have enough playground play?
Are they getting bored?

Then we see their Imagination go!! I love listening to all the adventures they come up with each day and all the kids join in together. No one gets left out. No screens to take up their time or individualize from other. Let kids create and be whoever they want to be!! Fun times!!

We hold children to standards that, if we're being honest, even adults don't always meet.
Yes, kids need rules.
Yes, they need structure.
Yes, they need boundaries.
Those things keep them safe and help them learn.
But they also need to be allowed to be human.

They’re allowed to be scared.
They’re allowed to ask for things.
They’re allowed to have big emotions.
They’re allowed to make mistakes.
They’re allowed to need us.

We have always heard the phrase “terrible twos” and “threenagers”
But in our eyes we see it as terrific twos, thriving threes, and Tiny adventurous toddlers!!
This group of kids have such a big imagination and never fail to make us smile 🫶🏻
