Around the Spectrum Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time 1099 contract position serving preschool-aged children throughout Berks County. This position involves providing speech-language services within preschool and daycare settings for children ages 3–5. We are looking for a clinician who enjoys early childhood populations and is comfortable working independently across community-based settings.

This is a unique opportunity to contract with a small, local, SLP-owned company that values communication, collaboration, and individualized support while still maintaining the flexibility and independence of a 1099 role.

Position Responsibilities:
- Implement speech-language therapy services in accordance with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services within preschool and daycare environments
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings as needed
- Collaborate with teachers and educational staff to support carryover of skills across settings
- Maintain appropriate documentation in accordance with school and professional standards
- Support students with a variety of communication needs within naturalistic learning environments

Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Pennsylvania licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
- Experience in school-based settings is a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently across multiple locations throughout the day

Position Details:
- Full-time 1099 independent contractor position
- Estimated 35 hours per week
- Starting at $55+/hour depending on experience
- Community-based preschool/daycare settings throughout Berks County
- Preschool-aged caseload (ages 3–5)
- Flexible, independent role
- Travel between locations throughout the day is expected

Around the Spectrum Therapy is looking for a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (W2) to join our outpatient clinic in Wyomissing, PA.

This position is ideal for an SLP looking for consistent part-time hours in a supportive, collaborative setting, while working in a clinic that prioritizes connection, autonomy, and meaningful communication.

We’re a therapist-owned clinic that takes a strengths-based, relationship-driven approach to therapy. Our clinic includes therapeutic gym spaces and collaborative, play-based environments that offer endless opportunities for engagement and connection.

Position Details:
- 1-2 days per week (approximately 8-15 hours)
- Flexible days
- Must be available for a mix of daytime and after-school hours (clinic closes by 5:45)
- Opportunities for additional hours may become available over time

We’re looking for an SLP who:
- Prioritizes connection, play, and collaboration with families
- Is open to Floortime-based therapy approaches
- Has experience in AAC
- Values a relationship-based approach
- Enjoys collaborating with other professionals
- Believes therapy should be flexible, affirming, and individualized

Job responsibilities may include:
- Providing individual therapy sessions
- Completing evaluations
- Coaching families and caregivers to support carryover at home
- Completing documentation and progress reports
- Collaborating with colleagues and other professionals as needed

We’re so excited to welcome Lisa to Around the Spectrum Therapy as our occupational therapist!

She may be a familiar face to many in the community, and we’re so glad to have her joining our team. She’ll be with us part-time to start and is currently able to see private pay clients. We are also in the process of completing insurance credentialing, and once approved, she will be able to begin seeing insurance-based clients (Blue Cross, Highmark, and Cigna commercial plans). Please note that we are not in-network with Medical Assistance plans.

We’re looking forward to expanding our services and offering more support for regulation, play, motor skills, and participation in daily routines.

We’ll be prioritizing current families first. If you’re interested in adding OT services, you can reach out or talk to Cassidy at the office so we can secure your spot on her schedule.

We’ll also be starting a waitlist for new families, so feel free to reach out if you’d like to be added.

Did you know we offer Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs)?

An IEE is a private speech-language evaluation that families can pursue through the school system when an independent perspective is needed. Families may seek an IEE for many reasons, including when they disagree with a school-based evaluation, want a more comprehensive assessment, or are looking for additional insight to better understand their child’s communication needs.

At Around the Spectrum Therapy, our IEEs are strengths-based, with a focus on understanding how your child communicates in real life, not just test scores. Each evaluation includes a detailed, comprehensive written report, and services may be completed without needing to come into the office, depending on your child’s needs. We work with families both within and outside of Berks County.

Please note: We do not assist with requesting or securing district approval for an IEE. Families are responsible for initiating the process and obtaining written approval from the school district before scheduling services.
