☀️ Hello, June! 🌿

A new month is a fresh opportunity to slow down, reset, and take care of yourself — one small step at a time. Mental health isn’t about being positive every moment; it’s about giving yourself grace through all of life’s seasons.

As we begin June, remember:
💚 Rest is productive
💚 Progress doesn’t have to be perfect
💚 You deserve support and care, too

What’s one thing you’re doing for your mental wellness this month?

05/28/2026

Throughout this month, we’ve talked about the importance of caring for our mental health, recognizing signs of stress and burnout, supporting our children and families, practicing coping skills, and reminding one another that no one has to struggle alone.

Every conversation helps reduce stigma and reminds people that support is available.

At Family Guidance Center, we see every day how access to mental health care changes lives. From children and teens in our schools to individuals and families in our community, your support helps make counseling and mental health services accessible to those who need them most.

As we close Mental Health Awareness Month, we invite you to continue making an impact. Your donation helps us expand services, support families, and ensure that individuals in our community receive compassionate, quality mental health care. 💚

Together, we can continue building a healthier, more supported community.

Supporting Students Where They Are 💚

We are proud to partner with the Hamburg Area School District to provide dedicated social workers who support students directly in the school setting.
Having social work services on-site means students can access care in a familiar, supportive environment—without having to miss important class time or travel off campus. Our social workers help students with emotional regulation, coping skills, peer relationships, stress management, family challenges, and more.

This collaboration strengthens the connection between home, school, and mental health support—helping students succeed not only academically, but emotionally and socially as well.

When students feel supported, they are better able to learn, grow, and thrive. We’re grateful to work alongside educators, families, and school staff to make that possible. 💚

Mental health doesn’t always look how you expect. Sometimes it’s silent.

Not everyone struggling will show visible signs. Many people continue showing up for work, school, family, and daily responsibilities while quietly battling anxiety, depression, stress, grief, or burnout.

Mental Health Awareness Month is a reminder that support matters, conversations matter, and checking in with one another matters.

If you’re struggling, you do not have to go through it alone. Reaching out for support is a sign of strength—not weakness. 💚
