✨ ALTA STAFF SPOTLIGHT: Meet Alecia Hetrick! ✨

It's time to celebrate another amazing member of the Alta Care Group team as we continue our Staff Spotlight series… today we're highlighting Alecia Hetrick! 💚

🌟 Alecia has been a therapist at Alta Behavioral Healthcare for 3½ years, specializing in early childhood counseling and supporting young children and their families. She is trained in The Incredible Years Small Group Dina Children’s Program, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

Through individual, family, and group therapy, Alecia helps children build emotional literacy, strengthen social skills, and develop healthy problem-solving skills. She has also been collaborating with our Early Childhood team to create engaging social media content that educates and supports families in meaningful and accessible ways.

Recently, Alecia achieved an exciting professional milestone by earning her Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) credential and now serves as an independently licensed clinician! 🎉

And on a personal note, Alecia is celebrating a very special milestone this month—she'll be marrying the love of her life, Steve Viglio! 💍

We are so grateful for Alecia’s compassion, expertise, and dedication to helping children and families thrive.

What an incredible day at our Salem Open House! 💙🎉 We are so grateful to everyone who joined us as we celebrated the opening of Alta Behavioral Healthcare’s newest location in Salem, Ohio. ✨

It was a wonderful day of community connection, facility tours, and sharing more about the services now available to children, youth, and families in Columbiana County. 🌱

This open house marked an exciting step forward in expanding access to compassionate, high-quality mental health care — and we couldn’t have done it without the support of our community, partners, and guests who came out to celebrate with us. 🫶

Buddy the Alta Care Bear spent this Mental Health Awareness Month teaming up with mascot friends across our community to spread one important message: we’re stronger when we support each other. ✨
From hugs and yoga to dancing, reading, art, sports, and friendship — every handshake in this montage is a reminder that connection matters.

Uh oh! Reggie’s block tower came crashing down… and his BIG feelings came crashing in too. But lucky for him, Rosie knows a super helpful calming trick — taking BIG deep breaths! ✨
