Self Repair for Social Repair

We equip you with tools for self repair which is an integral to the p Repair does not mean that you are broken.

Dominant world systems are based on hierarchy and make most of us feel like we are not good enough. This sense of inadequacy limits our courage to be our full selves. Self repair is a process of calling in the parts of yourself that have been denied and discouraged. It is a journey of self acceptance, radical love and impacting the world with your gifts. Through self repair we create capacity and care for social repair. At The Toolbox we connect you with tools for self repair. We believe in self repair for social repair.

Thank you to everyone who showed up yesterday, despite the rain, for our community class with KZNSA Gallery, Durban.

There is something so special about coming together to move, breathe and share space. The collective energy truly brightened and energised an otherwise grey day. A beautiful reminder of what happens when we choose to show up, for ourselves and for one another.

What made it even more special was to be surrounded by beautiful art! We are already looking forward to the next class in October. Keep your eyes peeled for details so you don't miss out.

What an honour and a privilege to not only host, but also facilitate a session dedicated entirely to restoration for a group of women in celebration of Women’s Month.

I began by framing our time together as a courageous conversation with the body.

Drawing on Brené Brown’s permissions, I invited the women to give themselves permission to be imperfect and embrace the messiness; to release urgency and make space for their own unfolding; to release the need to know and instead choose curiosity; and to choose presence over multitasking and distraction.

The postures were simple, but as I kept reminding them, simple does not necessarily mean easy.
In a world that asks so much of women , to produce, care, carry, solve, endure and keep going, slowing down can itself require courage.

So we practised staying.
Listening.
Softening.
Receiving.

And perhaps the most important reminder of all: you don't only deserve rest. You are worth the time it takes to restore yourself.

Sat Nam! I'm excited to be teaching a monthly Kundalini class in Durban at home base. Been a minute! The first one is on Wednesday 29 July 530 to 645pm! Next one 26 August.

Kundalini yoga is a potent practice that connects you with Infinity by amplifying the energy of your soul. Come true for invigorating movement, breathwork, dynamic meditation and chanting.

The Kriya for Lymph Glands supports the optimal functioning of your lymphatic system. This system (named after Goddess Lympha of fresh water) is a network of organs, vessels and tissues that protect you from infection & maintain fluid balance. Lymph does not circulate on its own and requires your activity to channel it where it needs to go.

If you have been curious about experiencing Kundalini - this is your sign✨️ Take this time for a moment of collective repair & rejuvenation. Pay what you can, if you can.

If you aren't in Durbs, you can always join my weekly online Thurs class 630 - 745am.

Come true 💫🕯

Yesterday we had the pleasure of facilitating KZNSA Gallery, Durban Mandela Day Community Class.

Together we explored through embodiment the principles of kindness, courage snd forgiveness. This is the power of yoga, it allows us to move these values from ideas into lived experience. So that,

We don't just speak about kindness, we offer it to ourselves and others
We don't just speak about courage, we experience it. We don't just speak about forgives, we create space for it.

And perhaps equally important, we don't do it alone. There is something profound about practising alongside others. We are reminded that healing doesn't only happen with in us, but also between us.

Thanks for everyone who joined and helps us to create a generous and grounded space.
