IT’S FINALLY HERE!
The South African Paperback Special Edition of Blood & Salt has arrived, and holding it today reminded me of something I think we sometimes forget.
Celebrate the small wins.
Take the photo. Open the bottle of bubbly. Buy yourself the cake. Do the ridiculous little happy dance in the kitchen. Tell someone you’re proud of yourself.
Because we spend so much time chasing the *big* moment that we forget a journey is actually made up of hundreds of smaller ones.
Finishing the chapter.
Writing the words when you didn’t feel like it.
Sending the manuscript.
Getting the proof copy.
Fixing the mistakes.
Trying again.
Not giving up.
Each one might feel tiny at the time, but they’re not.
They’re footsteps, aeventually, all those small wins lead you somewhere you once only imagined standing.
Today, mine led me here, holding the South African Special Edition of *Blood & Salt in my hands.
So yes, I’m celebrating this one.💯🙌✌️
