Not all red light therapy is created the same.
While many red light devices use LED technology, BioFlex Laser Therapy combines three different light technologies in one treatment system: laser diodes, superluminous diodes and LEDs.
So what is the difference?
LED light is non coherent and spreads more broadly. It can be useful for general photobiomodulation and more superficial applications. This is the technology found in many consumer red light panels and wellness devices.
Laser light is different. It is coherent, highly directional and produced at a specific wavelength. These characteristics allow laser based systems to deliver a more concentrated form of light energy to targeted tissue. Research comparing laser and LED photobiomodulation also highlights differences in light characteristics, energy delivery and potential treatment depth.
BioFlex combines both approaches.
