An inverted fold that invites a great balance between steadiness (sthira) and ease (sukha) through: The forward-moving weight strengthens ankles and foot muscles Strengthens knee joint & surrounding muscles
The inversion position (heart above head) helps deoxygenated blood move to the heart; this also relaxes the heart. Activates the stomach muscles, strengthening them and supporting digestion.
