In this series I hope to give you a few pointers and suggestions when preparing for your first session.

𝑳𝒆𝒕'𝒔 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒕 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒆𝒙𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒕
👉🏻 Upon arrival, you will be asked to fill out a new client intake form. This is not standard with all therapists, but I like to use it so that I can get an idea of what we will be working on.
👉🏻 I usually introduce myself and what I bring to the table, my approach and the options of your treatment.
👉🏻 If you have any specific areas you would like me to focus on, now is a good time to point them out. These include (but are not limited to) physical ailments, emotional concerns or current situations you may be dealing with.
👉🏻 You are encouraged to ask questions. My greatest priority is making sure that you have a comfortable and relaxing experience. To do that, I would like to answer all and any questions you may have beforehand.
