The Brain Trainer

The Brain Trainer Neurofeedback teaches the brain to change itself and helps attention, mood, behavior, cognition, and Changing the brain clearly affects the mind.

Neurofeedback is a scientifically based method for measuring and improving brain activity which is used all over the world. It is based on the latest neurological research, which shows how certain patterns of behaviour can be explained by a particular set of brain wave patterns. At The Brain Trainer we practise Neurofeedback (Brain Training) , working with the concept that the brain can be trained

so that performance can be improved. To put it simply Neurofeedback involves holding a mirror up to the brain in order to provide feedback on how well it is working. Training the brain using Neurofeedback can change a whole range of challenges. It helps improve alertness, attention, emotional regulation, behavior, cognitive function, and mental flexibility. Brain training produces a measurable physiological effect on the brain that when practiced, more likely becomes the brain’s regular pattern.

YOUR BRAIN HAS DIFFERENT MODES.
🧠 Focus
😌 Calm
⚡ Alert
🌙 Rest
💡 Creative
Your brain shouldn't be in the same state all day.
You need to be able to focus when you're working.
Relax when you're resting.
Become alert when something needs your attention.
And switch off when it's time to sleep.
The goal isn't to be calm all the time.
The goal is flexibility — being able to shift into the state you need.
Neurofeedback focuses on helping the brain develop more effective patterns of self-regulation and flexibility.
Because a healthy brain isn't "on" or "off."
It's adaptable. 🧠
Which state do you find hardest to shift into?

🧠 **Why is Neurofeedback so good?**

Because it works with your brain — not against it.

Neurofeedback helps teach your brain to regulate itself more effectively, which can support better focus, calmer thoughts, improved sleep, emotional balance and greater mental clarity.

✨ Non-invasive
✨ Drug-free
✨ Personalised to your brain

Your brain has the ability to change and adapt. Neurofeedback gives it the opportunity to learn a better way. 💙

Using neurofeedback for training in emotional self-control can improve sports performance
Competitive pressure and the demand for immediate results can increase feelings of anxiety and the fear of failure, which impairs performance

A study led by the UOC concludes that complementing physical training with mental training sessions to achieve emotional self-control is effective in reducing stress in athletes

A UOC study shows that gamified neurofeedback enhances athletes' emotional self-control and can improve their performance

Forgetting a name or losing your keys feels like a small failure, but what if your forgetfulness is actually one of the most important things your brain does? In this video, I explore the surprising science of forgetting through the story of a woman who remembers everything, the psychologist studying why most of us don't, and the research showing that a healthy memory needs to lose details, not just keep them.

WHAT IF YOUR BRAIN COULD HEAR ITSELF?
This is one of the things that makes Neurofeedback so fascinating.
During a Neurofeedback session, sensors monitor your brain's electrical activity.
That information is processed in real time and translated into feedback — often through sound.
When your brain's activity changes, the feedback changes.
Your brain receives information about what it's doing.
Over time, this process can help the brain learn to regulate its activity more effectively.
It's not about telling your brain what to do.
It's about giving your brain information — and allowing it to learn.
That's Neurofeedback. 🧠🎧
Have you ever wondered what actually happens during a Neurofeedback session?
I'm happy to explain.

YOUR BRAIN CAN CHANGE.
This is called neuroplasticity.
One of the most fascinating things about the human brain is its ability to change and adapt throughout life.
Your brain is constantly responding to what you experience, practise and repeat.
That's why we can learn new skills.
Why habits can change.
Why the brain can adapt.
And why brain training is possible.
Neurofeedback works with the brain's natural capacity to learn and adapt, using real-time feedback to encourage more effective patterns of brain regulation.
Your brain isn't fixed.
It is constantly learning.
The question is: what are you training it to do? 🧠
