🌺 NOW WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT? 🌺
Looking back at photos like this makes me smile… because some parts of us are there long before we understand where they’re going to take us.
Ever since I was a kid, I’ve loved to dance. 💃😂
I loved music, movement, rhythm and the freedom of just letting my body move.
And strangely enough, all these years later… I’m still dancing.
Only now, my dance happens around a massage table. 🌺
Every treatment I give feels like a beautiful dance across the body.
I hear the music, I feel the rhythm, and somewhere during the treatment my mind becomes quiet and my body almost falls into a trance. My feet move, my whole body moves, my hands and forearms flow — and I simply follow what I feel.
No two treatments are ever exactly the same because no two people are the same.
The movements change.
The body beneath my hands changes.
The energy changes.
But the flow and rhythm remain.
And underneath it all is the same intention — love, connection, presence and joy. ❤️
When I look back over my life, I realise that so many seemingly unrelated pieces of my journey have found their way into the work I do today.
The dancing.
The music.
My love of people.
The difficult experiences that taught me compassion.
The travelling and learning.
The different cultures, teachers and styles of bodywork I’ve experienced.
The spiritual connection I’ve developed along the way.
Somehow, they’ve all woven themselves together into what is now Hawaiian Fusion ✨🌺
Maybe that’s why I’ve never wanted my massage to feel mechanical or like a routine.
For me, it’s something I feel.
It’s movement.
It’s connection.
It’s intuition.
It’s energy.
It’s a dance.
And perhaps that little kid in this photo had absolutely no idea where life was going to take him…
…but he already knew how much he loved to move to the music. 🌺
Turns out, I never stopped dancing.
I just found a different dance floor. ❤️🌊
