Putting these new trending drops from Maybelline New York to the test to see if they actually work for mature skin, or if they just settle straight into fine lines.

A little retail therapy at Armani beauty at Myer today! 🤍✨

I was especially keen to play with their Eye Tints and shimmers, and of course, I couldn’t resist trying a few other products while I was there.

I always love meeting people who enjoy chatting about skin and beauty as much as I do. There’s always something new to discover, try and learn!

A few sneaky purchases and some lovely samples came home with me to try.

That was a good hit of endorphins! 😂💄✨

💋 A little lip practice at 57!

Thanks It’s MAC is one of my favourite lipsticks, and I’m also loving the Bobbi Brown lip crayons. This one is Rum Raisin. 😍

After picking up some tips from the makeup artist at Mecca in Melbourne, I’ve been practising using lip crayons to create more definition and the appearance of a little extra volume.

Always learning new tricks and having fun with makeup at 57. 💕

Jumping on the viral peel-off lip liner hype! 💋✨

I picked these up from Priceline Australia during their sales recently.

Let’s see how the Maybelline New York Super Stay Peel Off Lip Liner goes on my natural 57-year-old lips!

I picked up both Haze and Sunset and decided to try Sunset first.

You can use it as a lip liner or all over your lips, which is how I’ve applied it. I left it on for around 3 to 5 minutes before peeling it off, then finished with Maybelline Lifter Gel. 💗

Of course, I had to put the transfer-proof claim to the test! 👀

And honestly… okay, I admit it, I like it! 💋

Mascara on over-50 lashes… 👀💗

Testing out freezeframe Instant Lash Xtreme in Intense Black. I love how mascara can transform a look, and this one definitely gave my lashes more volume and length. I love the intense black, but I’d also love to see it available in a beautiful brown! 🤎

This was one of the products I won as a competition prize, so I’m sharing my experience with you.

I may be over 50 but I still love putting my best self forward 💗

Meet my new Positano top in pink from The Haven Co. 💖

Of course it’s pink! I love that it’s a little bit chic.

Made from an 80% viscose and 20% linen blend, it feels beautifully soft, with a softly gathered neckline, French seams and an adjustable tie hem for comfort and a fit you can wear your way.

I don’t always feel comfortable wearing a high neckline or having my arms out, but I love how the extended shoulders create that lovely, elegant sleeve effect. It gives the top such a chic look and makes me feel really comfortable wearing a style like this.

I’m all about comfort while still looking a little elevated, and this is one of those pieces I feel totally comfortable in.

And this is how I style it at 57. ✨

A pop of pink? Always a yes! 💕
