The second objective is to devise a way of connecting our battery powered machines to nearly any glo

Since our founding, we have focused exclusively on developing and improving bed and trolley movers to create a system that is easy to use and proven to reduce, if not eliminate, workplace injuries. Today, hospitals throughout Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, Singapore, Saudi Arabia and Europe, use RIHA Industries devices for patient transfers and moving of other heavy-wheeled equipment. We understand the acute care hospital environment and what is important for efficiency and reducing workplace injuries. During 2012 we launched the StaminaLift TS5000 patient transfer system for the global acute care hospital community. Universally compatible, the StaminaLift TS5000 works with most globally available hospital beds and stretchers. Hospital staff like driving the smooth dual drive system, appreciate the tight turning circle, but most of all, they like that the TS5000 is ready to move just about any bed or stretcher they can find. Our products are quality driven, designed, fabricated, and assembled in our workshop in Adelaide, Australia. Manufacturing local enables us to adapt our fabrication processes to the highest standards, provide custom-tailored engineering solutions resulting in customer satisfaction. The new Adaptable Jaw System 300 for the StaminaLift TS5000 & TS6000 takes hospital logistics to the next level.

Successful day in Ipswich, QLD!

St Andrew’s Ipswich Private Hospital has officially implemented the StaminaLift TS5000 Transfer System, taking another step towards safer and more efficient patient transport.

After relying on an outdated bed moving solution for many years, the team has now invested in the latest technology to reduce manual handling risks and improve workflow efficiency throughout the hospital.

Alongside their new bed movers, they have also added an Easi Mover to assist with the movement of linen trolleys, further reducing physical strain on staff and improving operational efficiency.

A fantastic outcome with plenty of positive feedback from the team during training and commissioning. Thank you to everyone involved for making the day such a success.

Built from solid aluminium and precision machined in-house, this new platform has been engineered to withstand the demanding environments of hospitals and healthcare facilities around the world while delivering the reliability our customers expect from the StaminaLift range.

Custom Solutions for Unique Requirements

While there are a wide range of options and accessories available for the StaminaLift bed mover range, every now and then we receive a unique request from a customer somewhere around the world.

This particular customer in the Middle East requested a key-operated isolation switch, allowing authorised staff to physically lock the machine and prevent unauthorised operation when required.

At RIHA Industries, we pride ourselves on listening to our customers and delivering practical solutions tailored to their specific operational needs. Whether it’s a special attachment, custom modification, or an entirely new feature, our Australian-made products are backed by a team committed to innovation and customer support.

Last week, we had Zane, a Year 12 student, join us at RIHA Industries for a full week of work experience—and we made sure it was a hands-on one.

Rather than just observing, Zane got involved in a real mini project from start to finish: designing and manufacturing a custom pen holder. The project combined multiple manufacturing processes, including:
• 3D printing
• CNC milling
• CNC turning

Along the way, we also explored advanced 3D printing materials, giving Zane exposure to high-performance options such as ABS, ABS with carbon fibre, and PEKK with carbon fibre.

It’s always great to see the next generation of engineers getting practical experience and understanding how different manufacturing technologies come together to create a finished product.
