Celestial Aromatics Mind Body Practitioner & Clinical Aromatherapist
Supporting women with nervous system regulation, stress relief, and body-based wellbeing.

https://bit.ly/CelestialAromaticsBookings My journey into the world of Clinical Aromatherapy was inspired by a powerful combination of personal experiences and a deep-seated desire to make a positive impact on the well-being of others. It all began when my young son battled severe eczema, and I found solace in massage treatments and aromatherapy while navigating the demands of a stressful job. In

2012, it struck me that I had an innate calling to help not only my family but also my friends and the broader community. This realization led me to embark on a part-time journey of education and exploration. By 2015, I had successfully completed my qualifications, becoming a Certified Clinical Aromatherapist. This was a pivotal moment that marked the birth of my business venture, one that I pursued alongside my husband, Craig, who is the owner of Ethereal Holistic Massage. Together, we ventured into the realm of the Complementary Health industry. Over the years, I've continued to expand my expertise in various therapeutic modalities, including Therapeutic Massage, Aromatherapy Massage, Reflexology, Lymphatic Drainage Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Infant Massage, and Aromatherapy consultations. My commitment to enhancing well-being has driven me to acquire additional qualifications in Reiki, CranioSacral Therapy, Ear Candling, as well as Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Hypnotherapy. For me, holistic therapy isn't just a profession; it's a way of life and a heartfelt passion. Every day, I witness the remarkable benefits of these therapies and their transformative impact on our clients' lives. My approach is proactive and rooted in the belief that everyone deserves to be empowered to lead a joyful life while effectively managing the stresses it may bring. My mission is succinctly captured in the motto: "Empowering your well-being and quality of life." Join me on this comprehensive journey towards a happier, more balanced life, where your well-being takes center stage. Together, we can embrace the power of holistic therapies, NLP, and Hypnotherapy to help you live your best life.

Awareness gives us choice.

We can't always control what happens around us.

But we can become more aware of what's happening within us.

The tension we're holding.

The thoughts going around in our head.

The way we're reacting.

The urge to keep pushing through even when we're tired.

The patterns we automatically fall back into.

Awareness doesn't mean we immediately know what to do about everything we notice.

But it can create a small pause.

And within that pause, we have an opportunity to choose what happens next.

Do I keep going?

Do I stop?

Do I need support?

Is this thought actually helping me?

Could I respond differently this time?

We can't change what we haven't noticed.

But once we notice, we have choices we didn't have when we were simply running on automatic. πŸ’œ

Sometimes awareness doesn't immediately lead to change.

Sometimes we simply notice.

We notice that we've been more tired.

That we're holding tension somewhere in our body.

That we've been saying yes when we really wanted to say no.

That a particular thought keeps coming back.

That we've been rushing.

Or that something simply doesn't feel quite right.

And we might not immediately know what to do about it.

That's okay.

I don't think every moment of awareness needs to be followed by an action plan.

Sometimes noticing is enough for now.

Because once we've noticed something, it's much harder to completely unsee it.

And perhaps the next time it happens, we'll recognise it a little sooner.

Then eventually, we might choose something different.

Awareness doesn't demand immediate change.

Sometimes it's simply where change begins. πŸ’œ

Why do we so often wait until we're exhausted before we give ourselves permission to stop? πŸ’œ

When someone comes to see me, I'm not only interested in the reason they booked the appointment.

Of course I want to know what's brought them in.

But I also listen to what else is happening.

How have they been feeling?

How have they been sleeping?

What have they noticed in their body?

Has anything changed recently?

What else is happening in their life?

Because we're not a collection of separate parts.

Our physical body, thoughts, emotions and experiences can all influence how we feel.

That doesn't mean every physical symptom has an emotional explanation.

It means I believe it's worth being curious about the bigger picture.

Whether I'm working with someone through aromatherapy massage, lymphatic drainage, hypnosis or coaching, I want to understand the person in front of me, not simply the service they've booked.

That's an important part of how I work. πŸ’œ

Sometimes the patterns we need to notice aren't happening in our body. They're happening in our thoughts.

We all have things we tell ourselves without really thinking about them.

"I just need to get through this."

"I don't have time to stop."

"I'll worry about myself later."

"It's easier if I just do it."

When we've thought something often enough, we don't necessarily question it anymore.

It can simply become the way we operate.

And that's where awareness becomes powerful.

Because noticing a thought doesn't mean we have to believe it.

We can become curious about it.

Is this actually true?

Is this helping me?

Is there another way I could look at this?

Sometimes changing what we do starts with becoming aware of what we've been telling ourselves.

And that small pause can create space for a different choice. πŸ’œ

We can't change what we haven't noticed.

Sometimes the patterns we live with every day become so familiar that we stop recognising them as patterns.

Holding tension in our shoulders.

Rushing from one thing to the next.

Ignoring that we're tired.

Automatically saying, "I'm fine."

Pushing through because there's still more to do.

None of these things necessarily seem significant on their own.

But when we start becoming more aware of what we're doing, feeling and experiencing in our body, we give ourselves an opportunity to respond differently.

And that's why I believe awareness is such an important part of creating change.

Not because we need to analyse everything we do.

Not because we've been doing something "wrong."

But because once we notice a pattern, we have a choice about what happens next.

Real and lasting change begins with awareness. πŸ’œ

Sometimes progress looks different than we expect.

It can be easy to notice the big things.

The goal reached.

The problem solved.

The thing finally crossed off the list.

But I'm becoming more interested in the smaller changes.

Noticing sooner when something doesn't feel right.

Taking a pause instead of automatically pushing through.

Responding differently to something that once would have thrown us.

Making a choice that supports us, even when it's not what we would have chosen in the past.

These changes can be easy to overlook because they don't always feel dramatic.

But they're often signs that something within us is shifting.

Sometimes progress isn't about becoming a completely different person.

It's noticing that we're responding differently to the life we're already living. πŸ’œ

I don't believe constantly pushing through should be something we wear as a badge of honour.

I say that as someone who spent years doing exactly that.

Keep going.

Get it done.

Deal with how tired I was later.

Tell myself I was fine because I was still functioning.

For a long time, I thought being able to push through meant I was coping.

I see it differently now.

There will absolutely be times when we need to keep going. Life doesn't stop just because we're tired, stressed or have a lot happening.

But there's a difference between choosing to keep going in a particular moment and living in a pattern where we constantly override ourselves.

And I think part of changing that pattern is mindset.

It's noticing the automatic thought that says, I should keep going.

Questioning whether that's actually what we need.

And recognising that stopping, resting or doing something differently isn't necessarily being unproductive.

Sometimes it's the choice that allows us to come back with more clarity and energy.

I don't believe the goal is to never push through.

I believe it's knowing when we're choosing to, rather than doing it because we don't know another way.

That's a very different way of living. πŸ’œ

A client recently told me she'd never felt so calm and relaxed before.

She said this to me after her treatment recently, and it stayed with me.

Sometimes we don't realise how much we've been carrying until our body has the opportunity to experience something different.

That deep sense of calm matters.

Relaxation isn't the same as regulation, something I've been talking about a lot this month, but relaxation can give our body an opportunity to slow down and experience what it feels like to not be constantly "on".

And sometimes that experience can help us begin to notice the difference.

That's one of the things I value about the work I do.

Whether it's aromatherapy massage, lymphatic drainage, hypnosis or another form of support, the treatment is the tool.

What matters to me is creating the space for someone to slow down, reconnect with themselves and notice what their body might be telling them.

Those moments matter. πŸ’œ
