This deck of Archangel Power Cards were gifted to me this year and of course I resonated with them especially since being gifted my Husband's family name, Power. This card I drew was very fitting for me, I have recently experienced so e loss and been grieving in private.

The angel of peace comes to us in a time of change it may come with a sense of great relief for perhaps feelings of sadness. Archangel Azrael opens his arms to you with love and compassion and will help you during this period of transition for stop take time to experience any emotions you have with Grace and self-love.

Archangel Azrael is a wonderful and extremely elegant angel who helps those who are experiencing the loss. When you call upon Azreal it is as though two big loving arms from heaven have wrapped around you, providing comfort and support he will aid you when you need to let go of a situation or a part of life that no longer serves you.

Self-care has become such an important part of my life. I’ve learned that looking after myself isn’t selfish — it’s necessary.

For me, self-care is about nurturing my mental health, my physical health and my soul. It’s giving myself permission to slow down, switch off from the outside world and simply be present.

Sometimes it’s meditation, Reiki, time in nature, a quiet coffee or soaking in the spa. Other times it’s setting boundaries, saying no, resting when my body needs it, or choosing not to carry things that aren’t mine to carry.
I’m learning to listen more closely to what my mind, body and soul need. I don’t have to wait until I’m exhausted or overwhelmed before I take care of myself.

And I really believe that starting your morning with even a little self-care can help set your vibe for the whole day. It doesn’t have to be anything big — just a few quiet moments that are yours before the busyness of the day begins.

Self-care isn’t something we have to earn. It’s part of how we heal, recharge and come back home to ourselves.

Soulful Connection has officially become
Soulful Connection Australia Inc.

After many years of supporting children, young people, families and adults through wellbeing, mindfulness, Reiki, creativity, connection and community programs, Soulful Connection is growing into its next chapter.

Becoming an incorporated not-for-profit organisation allows us to broaden our community focus and work towards creating even more accessible wellbeing programs, workshops and opportunities for children, young people and families.

Our heart remains the same. 💚

We’ll continue creating nurturing spaces where people can slow down, connect, build confidence, explore their wellbeing and learn practical tools they can take into everyday life.
