New research into rainwater tanks across Adelaide and the Adelaide Hills has detected potentially harmful bacteria and elevated metal levels, highlighting the importance of maintaining household rainwater systems.

Some people don’t think filtration and U.V. sterilisers are needed for their rainwater supply. Today’s tank cleaning job, tell me if you would drink unfiltered water from this tank? 🤢

Great feedback from one of our customers:

I have been using the Tank Doctors products for nearly 10 years now and the product quality, service, communication and attention to detail is truely first rate. David White and the team at the Tank Doctor are the best in the business and their dedication to excellent customer service is unsurpassed by any other business that I have dealt with. I have installed two FT-3000 filter systems at our house which relies totally on tank water and the difference they make to the quality of our water is dramatic. They produce the clearest and best tasting water of any filter system I have ever experienced. I cannot recommend The Tank Doctor and their products highly enough. Thank you guys, you run an amazing business and I will be a lifelong customer!

PART ONE 🚨WHAT’S GROWING INSIDE YOUR UNDERGROUND TANK? 🚨

You might be shocked to find out what’s happening beneath your property...

🌳 Tree roots are one of the biggest causes of damage to large underground water tanks. Tiny roots can find their way through the smallest cracks and joints, eventually turning into massive root systems inside your tank.

The result?❌ Blocked pipework❌ Reduced water storage capacity❌ Structural damage❌ Expensive repairs

In this tank, we discovered tree roots had completely invaded the system, causing major issues that couldn’t be seen from the surface.

At The Tank Doctor, we specialise in inspecting, cleaning, repairing and restoring underground tanks across South Australia.

💧 Don’t wait until it’s too late.📞 Book an inspection today and find out what’s lurking beneath your property.

Just remember to keep your tank overflow outlet plumbed up to stormwater or at least cover the outlet with mesh to stop possums from drowning in your drinking water🤢

✨REVIEW✨

“I can not recommend The Tank Doctor highly enough!”

“When we built our new 480 sq/m house with 130,000 litres of stainless steel water tanks, we wanted to install a filtration system that we wouldn't have to have issues with or need to replace or upgrade.”

“When I emailed about pump questions, I got a phone call immediately, on a weekend. I explained our setup and was guided well.”

“We love that the pump is under the cover and out of the weather. We have just celebrated 12 months in the new home.”

“Replacement filters to country Vic arrived in 4 days and the online videos made it super easy to replace. We are ecstatic about this purchase and will recommend to all we see.”

“Thank you so so much!”

Inspection of a very filthy and dangerous tank to clean today. Have a look at what’s inside😬

💧Today we replaced a messy setup with our quality FT-300UV Free-Standing filtration system with UV sterilisation.
We plumbed a manifold on the filter system inlet allowing our client to select between their mains or rainwater supply quick and easy. Now they have filtration that will remove dirt, bacteria and also chlorine when on the mains supply.
Just need to update the single power point later today and good to go!
