Thanks to funds raised from the Corvette for Cancer raffle, Bendigo Health has welcomed a new Specialist Bowel Cancer Nurse Coordinator.

Community support has helped create a new Specialist Bowel Cancer Nurse Coordinator at Bendigo Health.

The role is funded through the Bendigo Health Foundation’s Corvette for Cancer initiative and delivered in partnership with Bowel Cancer Australia.

Experienced Bendigo Health nurse Kristie Alford has stepped into the role, providing expert guidance and support from diagnosis through treatment and beyond.

A huge thank you to the ladies at the Bendigo Bowls Club for hosting a special Ladies' Morning Tea in support of our Cancer Centre.

We were delighted to receive a donation of more than $4,000, which will help fund a new treatment trolley for our Day Chemotherapy Unit.

Your generosity and community spirit will make a real difference to the experience of local patients receiving cancer treatment. Thank you for helping us provide the very best care, close to home. 💙

We are excited to reveal that this year's McKean McGregor Real Estate Gala Ball raised an incredible $268,836.05 in support of Cancer Wellness services at Bendigo Health.

Even more remarkably, this brings the total raised over the five years of the Gala Ball to an amazing $1,204,272.28.

These funds help ensure local cancer patients can continue to access the vital support, complementary therapies and wellness services provided through our Cancer Wellness Program.

To everyone who attended, donated, sponsored, volunteered and supported the event, thank you. Your generosity is making a real difference in the lives of cancer patients and their families across our region.
