If you ever want to know a little more about your nature, look at the pivotal moments in your life and unfold them.

I’ve noticed that, for me, in nearly every one of those moments, I wasn’t particularly concerned with what anyone else thought. Something deeper was moving me. That may reveal a little more about who I’m becoming, or at least explain some of the things that can seem confusing.

How about you? What do your pivotal moments reveal? And remember, they don’t have to point to just one thing. Sometimes they reveal a whole pattern that keeps trying to be seen.

Congee is one of Traditional Chinese Medicine's most valued foods for supporting digestion and gut health, especially when enjoyed regularly. In TCM, the digestive system is associated with the Earth element, which is considered the foundation of overall wellbeing. When digestion is functioning well, it helps nourish and support every system and function throughout the body.

Congee is a rice porridge made by simmering rice in a large amount of water or broth until it becomes soft and creamy. It is commonly eaten throughout many parts of Asia and is often recommended during illness because it is easy to digest.

The long cooking process breaks down the rice, making it gentle for people with upset stomachs, poor appetite, or recovery from illness. Because it contains a lot of liquid, it can help maintain hydration which is an added bonus.

Adding ingredients such as eggs, fish, chicken, vegetables, beans, ginger, or mushrooms can significantly increase its nutritional value and flavour.

Now that it's Winter its the perfect time to add this dish to the table.
Try it out and let us know your fav recipe.
