Understanding autism includes recognising that no two experiences are the same.

Our Autism Spectrum Wheel is a visual reflective tool designed to help individuals, families, and professionals better understand how autism can show up across areas like communication, sensory experiences, focus, relationships, and regulation.

Paired with a detailed guide , this resource encourages meaningful reflection and supports a strengths-based, affirming understanding of self. It can be used independently or alongside therapy to support conversations around identity, needs, and support strategies.

A recent moment from the new season of Perfect Match sparked an important conversation around ADHD and relationships, when Marissa shared:

“And I have ADHD. I have rejection sensitive dysphoria.”

RSD (Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria) is something many people with ADHD experience. It can make rejection, criticism, conflict, or feeling misunderstood feel incredibly intense and deeply personal.

In relationships, this can sometimes look like:
• overthinking messages or tone
• fear of abandonment or being disliked
• emotional shutdowns or strong emotional reactions
• needing reassurance after conflict
• feeling hurt by perceived rejection, even when it wasn’t intended

It’s great to see conversations like this represented in a popular show as it can help people feel more understood and less alone in their experiences.

If this resonates with you, we’ve recently shared a blog, ADHD and Relationships: The Intention-Impact Gap, which explores RSD in more depth.
