The Happy Human Hub Where Happy Humans Hang Out! We are a disability support provider in Lake Macquarie, NSW.

We believe that our school aged children and young adults with disabilities need constant interaction and communication with their peers, those of similar age and interests, to build and form friendships and life skills. Our goal is to commence social programs for school aged children and continue supporting their development and independence when they leave school. Our team at The Happy Human Hub

have found that participants who choose to include educational games and programs integrated into their daily program, are continuing to show improvement in all areas including development in speech and communication, physical, tactile, gross and fine motor skills. We have chosen ‘fun, interactive’ ways to support continuous learning in all aspects of the participant’s plan, including physical activities, improve independence, edu-tainment, community access and social activities.

👧🧒 For Happy Humans aged 7–17 years

Looking for a fun, welcoming after-school program where your child can make friends, try new things, build confidence and have FUN? 💙

Our Social Connection Club runs Monday–Friday, 3:30pm–5:30pm, with school pick-ups and drop-offs home available! 🚗🏡

We have something for everyone, with a different activity focus each day! 🙌✨

🎨 MONDAY – CREATIVE KIDS
Paint, draw, create and explore! 🖌️ From clay and collage to seasonal crafts and mixed-media projects, there are plenty of opportunities for creativity and self-expression.

🍳 TUESDAY – MINI MASTERCHEFS
Time to get cooking! 👩‍🍳 Learn new cooking skills, explore different foods, try exciting recipes and enjoy sharing your creations with friends.

🎵 WEDNESDAY – MUSIC & MOVEMENT
Move, groove and have fun! 🎶💃 Enjoy music, dance, rhythm and interactive activities in a fun and supportive environment.

🏃 THURSDAY – ACTIVE KIDS
Let’s get moving! 🏀🎳 Activities may include trampoline parks, sporting fields, parks, bowling, pickleball and other exciting indoor and outdoor adventures.

🎉 FRIDAY – FRIDAY FUNDAY
Finish the week on a high! 🥳 Enjoy excursions, games, community experiences and exciting activities while spending time with friends and making memories.

💙 Throughout the program, we focus on social skills, communication, teamwork, confidence, independence, creativity, problem-solving, physical wellbeing and developing friendships.

The school holidays are almost here, and we’ve packed two weeks of fun, adventure, friendship and new experiences into our Spring School Holiday Program! 🚌🌿🎉

From Monday 28 September to Friday 9 October, our Happy Humans can get out and about across the Hunter and Port Stephens, with a huge variety of activities to choose from!

Lots of friendly competition, plenty of laughs, and even more smiles! 😄🏆 From getting out and about in the community to trying new activities and enjoying time together, our Happy Humans have been making some pretty special memories lately!

One of our favourite things about The Happy Human Hub is seeing the friendships and connections that continue to grow and thrive here. 🫶 Watching participants cheer each other on, share a laugh, celebrate each other's wins and simply enjoy being together is what it's all about! 🌟

What a beautiful weekend of adventures! 💙☀️

🍊 One group headed down to Dooralong for a sunny day of orange picking, exploring the farm and getting up close with some amazing wildlife. There were plenty of laughs, fresh air and, of course, lots of delicious oranges! 🐐🍊

🥾 Meanwhile, some others enjoyed a gorgeous Sunday hike at Mount Tomaree! Taking in the fresh air, beautiful scenery and spectacular views captured on their drone while getting active and enjoying the great outdoors. 🌿🌊

We love that every weekend at The Happy Human Hub can look a little different! From trying new experiences to exploring new places and spending time with friends, there's always an adventure waiting. 💛

Calling all Happy Humans! 🚗💨 Get ready for an action-packed Saturday Social as we head to Show Us Ya Slotz for an exciting day of slot car racing!

Choose your favourite car to hire, put your racing skills to the test, and challenge your friends across four unique race tracks. Whether you're a seasoned racer or giving it a go for the first time, it's guaranteed to be a day full of laughs, friendly competition, and plenty of excitement! 🏎️🏆

After the racing, we'll make the most of the beautiful location with a relaxing lunch. Participants can enjoy something from the onsite café or, weather permitting, head to Anna Bay for delicious fish and chips by the beach. 🌊🍟

This is the perfect day to connect with friends, enjoy a little healthy competition, and explore one of the Hunter's hidden gems!

Our Saturday Social – Term 3 (Weeks 6–12) is here, and we can't wait for more unforgettable weekend adventures! 💙

From meeting reptiles at Hunter Wetlands, building amazing creations at LEGO BrickFest, bouncing through Inflatable World, and experiencing the thrills of Luna Park Sydney, to solving puzzles in an Escape Room and cuddling adorable alpacas at Starline Alpaca Farmstay—there's something for everyone! 🎉🐍🎢🦙

Our Saturday Social program is all about building friendships, developing confidence, exploring the community, and creating lifelong memories in a safe and supportive environment.

Another week, another bunch of smiles, laughter and amazing memories at The Happy Human Hub! 🌟

This week, our participants were out and about enjoying a fun-filled game of bowling, celebrating strikes, cheering each other on, and sharing plenty of laughs along the way. 🎳👏

We also launched our NEW Dance Fitness class, and what a hit it was! 💃🕺 The room was filled with music, movement, energy and big smiles as everyone got active, built confidence and had so much fun together.

We love seeing our Happy Humans trying new experiences, building friendships and making every day an adventure. We can't wait to see what next week brings! 💛
