๐ Supporting Neurodivergent Children at Hills Osteopaths
At Hills Osteopaths, we care for patients of all ages, from babies and toddlers through to growing children and teens. Our approach is gentle, supportive, and tailored to each childโs unique needs.
For Julian, working with children has always been close to his heart. In fact, one of his original inspirations for becoming an osteopath was a desire to better support children navigating neurodivergent challenges, including and spectrum disorders.
To continue developing his skills and clinical understanding, Julian recently attended an advanced practical seminar focused on the pathophysiology, diagnosis, and treatment considerations of paediatric neurodevelopmental conditions.
The masterclass was led by world-renowned Italian paediatric osteopath Luisa Miraglia, who shared expert insights into:
โ
Early intervention โ recognising neurodevelopmental signs and red flags across different childhood age groups
โ
Comprehensive assessment โ clinical history-taking, specialised testing, and diagnostic considerations
โ
Targeted manual care โ gentle techniques supporting structural balance, nervous system regulation, visceral health, and cranial care
Through real-world case studies and hands-on learning, Julian has returned with a deeper clinical awareness and an expanded toolkit to support the care he provides to our youngest patients.
At Hills Osteopaths, we understand that every child is different. Our goal is to provide calm, compassionate, family-centred care that works alongside your childโs broader healthcare team.
๐ If youโre looking for gentle osteopathic care for your child in Castle Hill or the Hills District, weโre here to help.
