At Plus, we build opportunities into our activities to develop skills which directly contribute to our quality of life - like focus, coordination and confidence.

We design our days around building real-life skills. We embed skill-building into daily activities so participants can practice, progress, and feel proud, all while doing things they enjoy. It’s all part of how we support NDIS goals and, more importantly, help people build a life they love.

If you’re a family looking for a day program that values growth, connection, and quality of life, we’d love to meet you. We have availability right now.

Supporting someone with behaviours of concern can feel overwhelming, and it’s common to feel unsure where to start.

Plus Behaviour Support Practitioners are highly experienced, person centred, and consistently deliver positive outcomes for their clients. They currently have availability in Sydney and Newcastle to provide tailored support for your family.

James is proudly showing off his latest drawing, expressing his creativity while practising focus, coordination and attention to detail.

At Plus, we focus on developing skills like these, which support confidence, fine motor development and self expression. Encouraging participants to explore their interests while building practical skills is central to our person centred approach.

Person centred, evidence based behaviour support is about looking beyond the behaviour to understand what is really happening for the person.

When support focuses on root causes, clinical insight and practical strategies, it can lead to safer environments, stronger skills, and better quality of life for both participants and their support networks.

Plus Behaviour Support Practitioners are highly experienced and currently have capacity to support NDIS participants in Sydney and Newcastle.

It also means using data, tools and clinical insight to inform formulations and guide practical, effective strategies.” - Zoe Lane, Assistant Practice Lead & Behaviour Support Practitioner, Plus Behaviour Support"

Sensory activities help us explore, learn and feel connected to the world.

Feeling textures, smelling herbs, listening to nature and moving outdoors can support regulation, communication and confidence.

At Plus Disability, we create opportunities for meaningful sensory experiences every day. Because inclusion starts with the senses.

We are lucky to have a brand new, extra large Bunnings open just down the street within easy walking distance of the Plus Disability hub.

For our participants, it is more than a hardware store. It is a chance to explore, choose items for DIY projects, chat with staff, and practise everyday skills like making purchases. Every trip builds real confidence, real independence, and real community connections.

Plus, the walk there and back keeps us active, connected, and enjoying time together outdoors.

At Plus Disability, we believe inclusion happens in everyday places. When barriers are removed, everyone can belong, learn and thrive.
