🗣️ A Massive shout out to a local legend 📢

We want to give a huge thankyou to Dylan Sinclair from Wayward Witches for an incredibly generous $1000 donation to headspace Gympie.

It’s so awesome to see local community members getting behind our young people and the valuable work we provide here at headspace Gympie.

This kind of generosity and support helps us to continue creating spaces,resources,activities and opportunities for young people to connect and feel a sense of belonging in a safe space and access the support they need. 🙌💚🍃🤝

Looking for a safe place to connect with LGBTIQA+ young people and allies? 💜

SHOUT is a social catch up for LGBTIQA+ young people, allies and those who are still exploring their gender and sexuality.

The only rule is today is for ages 12-17 🏳️‍🌈🌈

🌼 Hang out in a welcoming space
🌼 Be yourself
🌼 Connect with others who get it

Please feel free to bring a friend as the more the merrier!

We’re really sorry everyone

SHOUT for ages 12-17 has been cancelled for today.

We appreciate your understanding as unfortunately staff are unwell!! 🤒 😷.
We hope to see you at next weeks rescheduled date 16th July or next months 13th August .

We also have a school holiday Social & wellbeing workshop being held tomorrow Friday 10th July 10.30-12.30pm and your more then welcome to attend ⭐️🌼💚🌈

What a fantastic turnout at the NAIDOC Family Event at Nelson Reserve this morning 🖤💛❤️

It was wonderful to see so many young people,families and community members coming together to celebrate today.

Thankyou to everyone who stopped by for a yarn ,joined in the activities and shared in the spirit of NAIDOC Week.

Being part of events like this reflects headspace Gympie’s ongoing commitment to walking alongside young people and our community.

We acknowledge the importance of cultural identity,belonging and building strong respectful relationships that support the wellbeing of young people,creating spaces where everyone feels seen ,heard and valued.

Thankyou to everyone who helped make the day so special . A particular special mention to the Gympie Murrie Network for organising this event and making it possible alongside our amazing community here in Gympie.

Together we continue to celebrate culture and strengthen connections not just for today or NAIDOC week but every day moving forward.
