2026 Programming CYCLE 6

What a strong turnout for “Murph”, with many completing the workout for the first time. And sorry but not sorry about the week that followed, just needed to make sure we knew “Murph” wasn’t that bad.

This now brings us to our next cycle. Our MAJOR focus will be taken care of by OVERHEAD PRESSING, with several variations being used to work a well-rounded pressing strength ready for anything. Alongside the pressing will be SPRINT REPEATS as our MINOR focus, this means you will be doing short sharp efforts working on our anaerobic fitness. This won’t be restricted to just using the cardio machines around the gym but also barbell and dumbbell loading to add the spice.

GYMNASTICS will be primarily HANDSTAND walking with a workshop taking you through a more narrowed in practice time, with PULL UPS still being sprinkled in the keep thing

- Major: Overhead pressing
- Minor: Sprint repeats
- Gymnastic: Handstand walk / Pull ups

Always bringing good energy, always cheering people on, always finding a way to make hard sessions feel lighter. And somehow… she still turns up with elite homemade cookies too 🍪

The best part about CF25 has never just been the workouts.

It’s the people inside it. The people who make others feel welcome, supported and excited to come back again tomorrow.

Murph is one of the few workouts that feels bigger than fitness.

Every year, people walk in unsure how it’s going to go.

Some are doing it for the first time.
Some are trying to beat an old time.
Some just want to finish without stopping.

But once the workout starts, none of that really matters much.

Everyone settles into the same thing - pace the run, break the reps up, keep moving, help the people around you.

That’s what makes Murph different.

It’s challenging but it’s also incredibly shared. The room gets quieter, people dig in and somehow everyone gets through it together.

We’ll be running Murph at CF25 on Saturday 23 May
8:00am + 9:30am

There’ll be scaling options for every level, whether it’s your first Murph or you’ve done it for years.

You do not need a vest.
You do not need to do it Rx.
You just need to approach it properly and commit to your version of the workout.

Workshop Sat 16 May – Kipping

Have you been working hard on your pull ups, or maybe it’s your toes to bar. Would you like to step it up a notch right before MURPH?

Then make sure you put aside some time after this Satudays classes, as we will be running a workshop breaking down the basics of the CrossFit kip. Although this will primarily be for anyone who is new to kipping, we will not turn you away if you want to attend to tune up you current level of kipping.

2026 Programming CYCLE 5

Well what a month that was for the legs, I hope everyone got through ok. Because I know the strength gains and endurance is about to pay off with our upcoming benchmark “Murph”.

Helping maintain leg strength while building a strong back at the same time we will be switching to the DEADLIFT as out MAJOR focus this month. Though you will not just see it heavy in strength effort but also WOD’s. Adding some higher rep BB/DB CYCLING as the MINOR focus will add to our strength endurance.

Meanwhile we still need to be prepping for “Murph” so you will still see plenty of BODYWEIGHT STRENGTH work done as the GYMNASTICS focus.

The 2026 CrossFit Open is almost here and we want YOU to be part of it! 💪

🌍 Where: At CrossFit 25 (and worldwide!)

The Open is a three week global competition that brings CrossFitters of all fitness levels together. From first timers to seasoned athletes. Whether you’re chasing personal PBs or just showing up for the challenge, the Open gives you:

✅ A chance to test your fitness and track progress
✅ A shared experience with your CrossFit 25 community
✅ Workouts you can attempt at your level - RX’d, Scaled or Foundations 

It doesn’t matter if you’ve never competed before the Open was designed for everyone. You can choose the division that suits you, compete with teammates and submit your scores online each week. 

For some athletes, it’s a stepping stone to bigger competitions. For most, it’s about community, accountability and smashing goals together.
