This week marks National Eosinophilic (EOS) Awareness Week, an opportunity to raise awareness of eosinophilic diseases and their impact on the lives of patients and families.
Eosinophilic gastrointestinal diseases (EGIDs) are chronic inflammatory conditions that occur when eosinophils, a type of white blood cell, accumulate within the gastrointestinal tract. This can lead to ongoing inflammation, tissue damage, and a range of debilitating symptoms.

At Cura Day Hospitals Group, we're proud to partner with leading Gastroenterologists who play a critical role in the diagnosis and management of these complex conditions. Diagnostic procedures such as endoscopy are often essential in achieving an accurate diagnosis, enabling earlier intervention, more effective treatment, and improved patient outcomes.

As we recognise EOS Awareness Week, we acknowledge the patients living with EGIDs and the clinicians dedicated to advancing their care.

If you're a Gastroenterologist looking to collaborate with a healthcare group committed to exceptional patient care, we'd love to connect.

This week is NAIDOC Week, a time to celebrate and recognise the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. At Cura Day Hospitals Group, we acknowledge this year’s theme and its focus on strength, connection and cultural continuity, aligned with our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) Patient Care Guidelines and our commitment to culturally safe, respectful and person-centred care.

It reminds us of the importance of listening, learning and embedding culturally capable practices that recognise the holistic nature of health, including connection to Country, family and community.

NAIDOC is more than a week. It reinforces our shared responsibility to deliver care that is respectful, culturally safe and responsive to the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
