Today, more than 100 wonderful supporters joined us for the Friends of Clifford Craig's annual Soup & Sandwich Luncheon β and what a day it was!
A highlight was hearing from Dr Brianna Atto, one of our Medical Research Grant recipients, who shared her inspiring work investigating a promising new treatment to prevent common bacterial ear and lung infections impacting children and older people.
It's research like this that reminds us why every fundraiser, every donation and every volunteer hour matters.
But can we please take a moment to celebrate our absolute superstars... the Friends of Clifford Craig! π
These amazing volunteers poured their hearts into today's event, making more than 26 litres of homemade soup, preparing 420 sandwiches, baking countless delicious slices, and doing it all with smiles on their faces (and probably a few sore feet by the end!).
We are so incredibly lucky to work alongside people who care so deeply about making a difference for patients and healthcare in Northern Tasmania. Their generosity, friendship and community spirit are something really special, and today was another beautiful reminder of what can be achieved when people come together for a great cause.
Thank you to everyone who attended, supported and helped make today such a wonderful success. β€οΈ
