Road tripping with Ruby dog ❤️ Central coast to Gunning to Mansfield to Bright and Albury. Wagga Wagga and a couple of wee stops then Newcastle. Podcasts, fresh air, road trip playlist and some pretty bad singing made it even better. Felt like going to the high country vic and catching up with mates so I did. Highly recommend a road trip! ...Because this is what I’ve learned:

You don’t get the relationship you want by holding onto the one that isn’t it.

Even if it’s comfortable.
Even if it still feels good sometimes.

I’m not writing this because I have it all figured out.

I’m writing it because I’ve been in it.

In the awareness.
In the pull.
In the choice.

And maybe that’s the most honest place to be. Right here, asking:

‘What would it look like to fully choose myself… even when it means letting go of something that still feels familiar?’

The In-Between: The things that feel good, but cost you way too much.
