How can Right at Home β Perth Midland help you?
Staying physically and mentally healthy protects against heart disease, and Right at Home β Perth Midland is here to help. With programs to assist with movement activities, including but not limited to regular physiotherapy, light exercise sessions and even hydrotherapy. Your Right at Home Care Team can arrange these sessions and even accompany you if need be.
We have access to dieticians and pre prepared meal options to assist with healthy meal choices, appropriate portions or even nutritional supplements to make sure that you are getting the right amount of protein in your diet.
We must not neglect our mental health, so we have programs for 1:1 social support, and our fortnightly Social Program for group outings and activities for more community engagement, like-minded companionship and pure joy.
A heart health assessment is simple and straightforward. It may involve a review of your family history, weight, blood pressure, an ECG and some simple blood tests. The results of this assessment are reviewed by your GP to indicate your risk of a heart attack. Right at Home can have our nursing team attend your home for regular blood pressure checks if you need assistance keeping an eye on those numbers.
If you have any questions about your Heart Health or would like to book a session with one of our nurses, contact your Care Team on 08 6146 0085 or message us directly.
