We’re excited to be expanding our counselling services at One Stop Allied Health, giving more children, teenagers and families access to timely mental health and wellbeing support.

Many families ask about the difference between a Counsellor and a Psychologist. The main difference is that Psychologists can also complete formal assessments and diagnose mental health conditions.

Counselling can support children and young people with:
* Anxiety and stress
* School challenges
* Friendship and relationship difficulties
* Family changes and transitions
* Emotional regulation
* Confidence and self-esteem
* Grief and loss
* General emotional wellbeing

Benefits of counselling include:
* Building resilience and confidence
* Developing healthy coping strategies
* Improving emotional regulation
* Strengthening communication skills
* Creating a safe space to express thoughts and feelings
* Learning practical strategies to manage everyday challenges

Counselling services can be funded through eligible NDIS plans where they align with a participant’s goals and supports.

✅ Social Engagement
