🚐❤️ Two new vehicles. Two very special names.

Meet Suzie Q and Grae Grae, the newest wheelchair-accessible additions to the St George Community fleet!

But who are Suzie and Graeme, and how did their rather unusual nicknames come about? 🤔

Behind each name is a wonderful volunteer with a story worth sharing.

We're delighted to honour them both as we continue investing in accessible transport for our community.

❤️ Meet the people behind the names and read their stories:

🎶 From The Beatles to Bacharach! 🎶

What a wonderful trip down memory lane, back at one of our favourite venues, the The Bryan Brown Theatre and Function Centre. The Beatles to Bacharach show was a fabulous celebration of timeless music, familiar favourites and songs that never go out of style. 🎤🎵

Vale Bill Turbet

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our much-loved former volunteer and Board member, Bill Turbet, on Sunday, 18 October 2026.

Bill generously gave his time as a volunteer driver and served on our Board of Directors, including as Chair in 2007. His kindness and dedication made a lasting impression on fellow volunteers, staff and clients.

In recognition of his contribution, a vehicle was named in his honour. The Bill bus served our community for 11 years, travelling more than 270,000 kilometres - a fitting tribute to someone who gave so much to helping others.

While the bus has since completed its final journey, Bill’s legacy lives on through the people he helped and the friendships he formed.

On behalf of our Board, staff, volunteers and clients, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Bill’s family and loved ones.

Thank you, Bill, for the many years, the many kilometres and the many lives you touched. You will always be part of the St George Community story.

Rest in peace.

What a truly glorious day aboard The Riverboat Postman, taking in the Hawkesbury River scenery as the boat delivered mail to riverside communities.

Beautiful views, plenty of smiles and time together. These lovely photos capture a little of the day’s magic! 💙
