Season 2 of the Nowra Podcast is here!!! 🎉

This season is fourteen new episodes with sixteen extraordinary Nowra locals that will remind you exactly why this town is something special.

We sat down with world champion dancers, a bestselling author, doctors, educators, the Council CEO, a mental health advocate, a theatre president, and many more. Every guest had a different story and every conversation was a different window into what makes this community tick.

This season carries extra meaning, because the podcast has been recorded and released in partnership with Triple U as the station celebrates 40 years of community broadcasting. We are proud to support local radio and proud that these conversations were recorded right here in the Nowra CBD!

When we launched Be Here Nowra, the mission was simple: help make Nowra a better place to be. Over the last four years, that vision has evolved in many ways.

In 2024, we were invited to join a team of passionate local business owners to help champion our town. Through the NSW Government Uptown Accelerator, we learned how to build a district team that advocates for and promotes the future of our area. We formed .org.au

Change is possible when people show up. Showing up for themselves through meditation. Showing up for their town through community.

Nowra is changing, and in many ways, for the better. We’re proud to play a small part in that shift.
