It is an immense honour to welcome the incredibly talented Dr. Subashini Valayutham to the Aloura Family 🤗🤩.

Dr. Subashini graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2006 and has since built a broad and well-rounded career in general practice. She gained valuable experience working across several major hospitals, including Royal Perth, Princess Margaret and King Edward Memoral Hospitals before specialising as a General Practitioner.

Dr. Subashini has extensive experience in Sexual & Reproductive health and is highly competent in the whole spectrum of IUD insertions & removals (Mirena, Kyleena, Copper) as well as Implanon insertion and removal.

Dr. Subashini enjoys and sees a whole range of chronic health conditions in all age groups and offers iron infusions as well. Her additional talent of being trilingual (fluent in English, Malay and Tamil) allows her to communicate comfortably with patients from diverse backgrounds.

We are super excited to announce during Women’s Health week we have the amazing Catherine (Cath) Cook starting at Aloura from next week 🙌.
Cath is a highly experienced Endorsed Midwife who provides exceptional one-on-one care right from the start of a woman’s pregnancy journey.
Cath not only provides exceptional, compassionate antenatal care but can also order investigations, co-ordinate referrals and discuss all your options regarding delivery and birth. Cath will also provide post-natal care and support up to 6 weeks after birth.
No referrals are needed and appointments are available now online through Hot Doc or you can call one of our lovely Healthcare Admin staff to book. 😃🤩

It is with immense pleasure that we announce the Aloura family is growing with highly experienced Dietitian Jayanthi (or Jay) joining the team this week🤩.

Jay has a wealth of knowledge and provides compassionate, evidence-based nutritional plans & advice from newborns with feeding issues, suspected food allergies /intolerances, fussy eating in children, right through to management of chronic health conditions in adults namely Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Obesity management, Chronic kidney disease, Diabetes, just to name a few. You name it, Jay will see it !

Medicare rebates are available with Care plans, including anyone under the age of 18, Health care card and Pension card holders fully bulk-billed on Care plans 🤗. Speak to one of our GPs to see if you are eligible for a Care plan.

Spring has almost sprung & we are thrilled to announce that Clinipath pathology will be ready to operate at Aloura from the first day of Spring! 🤗.
We are lucky to have a highly experienced Clinipath phlebotomist who can also perform blood tests on children.
For now Clinipath will operate on weekdays with plans to open on Saturdays once Aloura opens on weekends (stay tuned for updates 😃).
