We’re looking forward to being part of the Cockburn Community Aged Care Expo, presented by The Aged Care Events Community.

It’s a wonderful opportunity for older Australians, families and carers to connect with local aged care and community service providers, ask questions and discover the support and services available in the area.

Sometimes, all it takes is a familiar song to bring back a lifetime of memories.

As part of our Seasons Community Project, our talented singer David recently visited RAAFA Cambrai Village in Merriwa for a special Singalong session.

And what a wonderful response!

Residents were smiling, singing along, tapping their feet and swaying to the music. One resident was even moved to tears as the songs brought back treasured memories.

The Retirement Wellbeing Officer shared this beautiful feedback:

"We just had our Singalong with David, it was amazing. It was so lovely to see our residents smiling, singing along, tapping their feet and swaying their bodies. The feedback from residents was fantastic, they all loved it."

Moments like these remind us just how powerful music can be in bringing people together.

Through our Seasons Community Project, we are proud to offer two complimentary one-hour Singalong sessions each year to participating nursing homes, retirement villages and community groups across metropolitan Perth.

A heartfelt thank you to the team and residents at RAAFA Cambrai Village for welcoming David and sharing such a special experience with us.
