In our Pre-Kindy room, children explored National Sorry Day through story time and a handprint painting experience inspired by the colours of the Aboriginal flag 🌿

The children enjoyed getting hands-on with the paint and proudly creating a meaningful artwork together around the word “Sorry” ❤️

Recently, our Kindy room children explored sand drawing on the light board as part of a sensory play experience ✨

Using:
• light board
• sand tray
• fine sand

Children explored different patterns, lines, and movements while engaging their creativity and fine motor skills through hands-on sensory play 💛

The light board added a beautiful visual element to the experience, encouraging curiosity, focus, and exploration.

Simple activities like these can create so many meaningful learning moments ✨

An afternoon filled with love, laughter & little memories 💐

On 10th May , we celebrated Mother’s Day with a beautiful afternoon shared between children, families, and educators 🌿

Each room prepared their own special experiences and activities, creating meaningful moments for children and their loved ones to enjoy together.

From creative activities and shared laughter to our afternoon tea and photobooth, it was such a lovely way to celebrate the important connections and memories made within our Shining Kidz ✨
