Another fantastic week of our Simply Better Living program, with participants coming together to explore this week's important topic:
Keep Moving, Strengthen Muscles and Stay Independent
Led by Emily Caruana, Director of Home and Community Services and Physiotherapist at St Luke's Care, the session focused on the vital role functional health plays in helping older Australians maintain their independence, confidence and quality of life as they age.
Participants enjoyed a lively discussion, practical insights and evidence-based strategies to support healthy ageing through movement and strength.
It's inspiring to see the meaningful connections being formed and the practical value being delivered through this magnificent six-week program. The positive feedback from participants continues to highlight just how important education, community and empowerment are in supporting people to age well.
Coming up next week:
We're delighted to welcome Leanne Kaplan, Clinical Neuropsychologist, who will be presenting on Behaviour Change as We Age, an engaging and thought-provoking topic that promises to spark great conversation.
What a program. What a community. ❤️
