Last week, our team was busy out in the Dalby region carrying out OPU (O**m Pick-Up) procedures, working alongside our clients to help advance their breeding programs. 🐄🧬

From early starts to long days on-farm, it was a productive week supporting producers and collecting valuable genetics to help build the next generation of high-performing cattle.

A big thank you to everyone who welcomed us onto their properties. We appreciate the opportunity to work with you and look forward to seeing the results in the months ahead!

We’re pleased to introduce Luisa, whose role reflects our commitment to science-led reproductive technologies, quality outcomes, and continual improvement across our laboratory systems.

𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐄𝐯𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐞
As a Veterinarian, Luisa supports the laboratory and scientific processes that underpin Evogene’s advanced reproductive services. Her work includes assisting with the handling and assessment of semen, oocytes and embryos, contributing to daily laboratory workflows, and helping maintain the accuracy, traceability, and quality control that support reliable reproductive outcomes.

𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 & 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞
Luisa completed her veterinary training at the Catholic University of Córdoba in Argentina, building a strong foundation in animal health and applied reproductive science.

Her experience includes working within the Australian livestock sector, alongside specialised training in clinical laboratory diagnostics. This combination gives her a valuable perspective—bridging practical animal health management with the technical precision required for advanced reproductive processes.
