Hello again 🤍
Whether you’re new here or have been here for a while, I thought it was time for a little reintroduction.

I’m Aimée, a psychologist and the founder of The Kind Collective, a private psychology practice in the Sutherland Shire in Sydney.

I work with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, relationships, attachment, self-worth and emotional overwhelm, and all the messy, tender parts of being human.

My approach is attachment-focused and trauma-informed, using EMDR, and other evidence based approaches that consider both the mind and body as we move through whatever has brought you to therapy.

But more than anything, I want therapy to be a space where you can be deeply human. A space where you can show up authentically as you - even if we’re still figuring out exactly who that is.

You can come absolutely as you are, and we can start exactly there.

So, if you’re new here, welcome. And if you’ve been here awhile, welcome back.
I’m so glad you’re here 🤍

Four years of The Kind Collective 🤎

This year looked a little different. Alongside running the practice, I welcomed my beautiful son into the world, and stepped into motherhood. This season invited slowing down, being present, and a quiet growth in ways I never expected. Returning to practice, I’ve noticed how this season has shaped both me and the business in such meaningful ways.

The heart of this work remains the same, though I carry a deeper appreciation for the healing that comes through connection, community, compassion, and being met exactly where you are.

I feel incredibly grateful to continue doing the work that I love, in this new season of life 🤎

This week I welcomed back face-to-face appointments at our new space in Caringbah, in the Sutherland Shire 🤎 How wonderful it was to reconnect in person, to continue to hold space for meaningful conversations, and to continue the work I care so deeply about. The work and our connection remains the same, trauma-informed and attachment focused, just in a new and beautiful space 🤎 Bookings are open, please feel so welcome to head to our website or the booking links in my bio, and I will be grateful for the opportunity to connect with you soon - until then, please go very gently and take care 🤎🤎

there was a quiet and a reverence for the dawn service this morning,
as the first light gently broke across the water in Cronulla.
there’s something about that stillness.
the way it asks you to pause,
to really take in what this day holds.
this morning, they spoke about service
and they spoke about sacrifice.
and there was something about sitting with those words,
letting them land,
without trying to move past them too quickly.
the sacrifice of our ANZAC brothers and sisters,
is not something that can be measured,
or compared,
or fully understood from where we stand.
it is vast.
it is profound.
it is enduring.
lives given.
futures never lived.
families forever changed.
and for those who returned,
the impact carried physically, psychologically,
In ways seen and unseen, long after the war has ended.
today is about remembering that.
holding it with care,
with respect,
with quiet gratitude.
lest we forget 🌺
