📢 King's Birthday Public Holiday Closure

A friendly reminder that Fit 2 Function Allied Health and Reformer Pilates will be closed on Monday 8th June for the King's Birthday public holiday.

There will be no physiotherapy appointments or instructor-led Reformer Pilates classes on this day.

✨ On-Demand members will still have 24/7 access to the studio as usual.

We hope you enjoy the long weekend and take some time to rest, move and recharge. We look forward to seeing you back in the clinic and studio on Tuesday 9th June.

As part of Pelvic Organ Prolapse Awareness Month, Jess is breaking down what pelvic organ prolapse (POP) is and the signs and symptoms to look out for.

You may experience:

▫️ Difficulty emptying your bladder or bowels
▫️ Symptoms that worsen throughout the day or with exercise

It’s a question we get asked all the time.

While many people associate pelvic health physiotherapy with pelvic floor exercises, the reality is that no two days look the same.

Days in the clinic can look like:
🤰 Birth preparation consultations
🤱 Acute postpartum recovery support
🏋️ Return-to-gym and return-to-sport assessments
💗 Pregnancy-related pelvic girdle pain management
🩺 Standard physiotherapy consultations
☕ A much-needed coffee somewhere in between

One of the things we love most about pelvic health physiotherapy is that it extends far beyond pregnancy and postpartum care. It’s about helping women feel confident, informed and supported through every stage of life.
