Today Stephen Abolakian Co- Managing Director of Hyecorp took part at The Urban Developer's Retirement and Aged Care Summit held in Brisbane with over 200 senior leaders attending the event.
Stephen presented our award winning Hyegrove and HyeCare projects as a case study "Inside the Industry's Best Projects for Australia Seniors” and was also on the panel "The Developer's Perspective - Underwriting new Projects in the Current Economic Environment

We are beyond proud to have won 2 Awards at the UDIA NSW Development Awards for Excellence with Heart of Willoughby winning the Excellence in Mixed Use Development Award and HyeCare winning the Excellence in Aged Care Award. Thank you to the UDIA and the judging panels for this incredible honour.

We set out to deliver a world class precinct that set a new benchmark for seniors living in Australia by delivering a truly connected community precinct offering a new Club Willoughby, Retirement Living at Hyegrove, Aged Care at HyeCare and a medical precinct in the suburb of Willoughby.

Delivering a mixed-use precinct-like Heart of Willoughby is never the work of just one person. It takes a dedicated team including our architects, builders, planners and consultants.

We are extremely proud to receive this award, and thank and congratulate our dedicated Hyecorp team, Hyegrove team, HyeCare team, our consultants and our subcontractors who have worked very hard to bring this special project to life.

We are thrilled to be announced as the National WINNER of The Urban Developer's "Development of the Year - Retirement Aged Care and Seniors Living" for our Hyegrove and HyeCare Willoughby projects. The Urban Developer stated that "Hyegrove was a standout, impressing judges with exceptional resident amenity, quality design and a comprehensive submission that demonstrated excellence across every assessment criterion." A big thank you to our Hyecorp team, construction team, consultants and everyone who brought this standout project to life.

Please join us for the first presentation in our HyeCare Speaker Series, focusing on the link between hearing loss and brain health, followed by a tour of HyeCare Willoughby.

Renowned Audiologist Andrew Campbell (Author of The Power of Sound and Your Resilient Brain) will present key insights on the links between hearing health and brain health. Leading research identifies hearing loss as the single most modifiable risk factor for cognitive decline. However intervention outcomes depend mainly on the quality of care you receive and how fully you engage with it.

Every attendee will receive a copy of Andrew's latest book "The Power of Sound".

After the presentation you can tour our HyeCare suites.
