Night Out In November is coming, and we can’t wait to see you there!

Here at Porch Light Society, we believe the hardest battles in rural communities are often the quiet ones, and that no one should face them alone. Our motto says it all: keep the porch light on.

It means showing up. Checking in. Making sure someone always knows there's a place for them and a light left on.

On November 21st, our rural communities are coming together for dancing, a live and silent auction, and a keynote speaker you won't want to miss. Every ticket helps fund ongoing mental health support in rural communities.

Porch Light Mental Wellness Society is seeking nominations for someone who's inspired you to be more proactive in your community — through their compassion, leadership, and commitment to others. Think of a friend, coworker, neighbour, or volunteer whose work doesn't go unnoticed, and put their name forward.

The person selected will be honoured at the 2026 Porch Light Mental Wellness Society Gala and presented with an Alberta Provincial Buckle, generously donated by Nathan Cooper, former MLA for Olds-Didsbury-Three Hills.
