Active in Cape Breton. This is a greenhouse build I did back in May near North Sydney, a 24'x48, polycarbonate sheet wrap. Have to be very precise with the placement of arches for a full polycarbonate wrap.

Greenhouse building is very much a theme this season for The NA and getting around the province. Two built in Halifax as well, working on a fourth build in Annapolis County, NS right now (a second structure will be built in the same location later this summer), and 90 percent confirmed for another build near North Sydney later this month. This will make for six builds this year so far totaling 7,488 square feet of greenhouse space.

The ticks seem to be a little more ambitious to find humans this Spring here in Nova Scotia. Please be vigilant inspecting yourselves and animals, take preventative precautions too. Lyme disease is no fun.

I've been finding 2-3 on me after even a short excursion which is usual for me. I will be adding extra precautions and deterrents for the foreseeable future.

It would be a good idea to check on your structures today with the current wind, it is unusually destructive the max ghusts. The wind is very disorganized and filled with lots of low pressure pockets that has air thrashing around hyper-locally, this wind can pull siding off the sides of buildings. Instant low pressure eddie's or bursts can be especially destructive, as higher pressure air races to fill the low pressure voids.

Greenhouse plastic is vulnerable today so please check for loose plastic if you have not and get it teathered down more. Stay safe doing it too please.
